Hello - We will be using RQ500 to bring orders in from a bolt on requisitioning tool.  There may be instances where we do not want the PO100 to create a new PO, such as in the case we need to add funds to an existing PO.  Has anyone been successful with this & what is the trigger to signal the req to not process any further than RQ10?  Thanks.

I haven't done it with RQ500 but I have been successful with IPAs changing the priority to a number we don't otherwise use and then my PO100s ignore it. In your case you could do this in the file and have an IPA go through the POINTERFAC and email them out.

So the priority you mention is something in the RQ500?

there is a field CREATE-PO in RQ500 and RQ10. Wonder what that does. This is what I see in the help text " You can type or select whether or not a purchase order will be created from the requisition line."

Yes - Priority exists on the RQ500. The Create PO N will stop it from allowing it to go to ANY PO - which is not what I think you wanted? If you need it to add to existing POs, the Create PO must be Y.

Will the bolt on req know the existing PO number? If so - you can set the priority to something not seen by your PO100s and put the PO number in one of the user fields and have IPA add it to the existing PO. In theory it could even release it.
