Relationships between ACTRANS AND MAPOINV or PURCHORDER

I'm trying to get a PO_NUMBER or INVOICE from ACTRANS.

What's the key relation between ACTRANS and ( MAPOINV or PURCHORDER ) ?

And also what's the REFERENCE in ACTRANS ?
I thought it is PO_NUMBER or INVOICE when the transaction is 'AP'.

To get PO and invoice information link the ACTRANS to APDISTRIB. APDISTRIB contains the information you are looking for
