What are the database tables which need to refer to view the history details of a action request ? (Eg - Need to view the history details of Transfers, including previous values & New values) Thanks Sameera

Hi Sameera, Table PERSACTHST holds Personnel Action History, and HRHISTORY holds the actual field updates. If you join HRHISTORY.ACT_OBJ_ID to PERSACTHST.OBJ_ID you can see the fields that were updated by a specific personnel action. Joining these two tables will only show you the "new" values of the fields updated by the action. If you need the old values (and values that were updated without using a personnel action), you'll have to look at HRHISTORY and find the latest-updated value prior to the action. By the way, PADICT holds the field number to field name mapping. Good luck.

If you have access to use SQL you can do a query like this to create a report that has the new value and previous value; SELECT hs.company ,hs.employee ,hs.obj_id ,hs.fld_nbr ,pd.item_name ,pac.action_code ,pac.reason_01 ,hs.beg_date ,hs.seq_nbr ,hs.n_value ,LAG(hs.n_value,1) OVER (PARTITION BY hs.employee ORDER BY hs.employee ,hs.beg_date ,hs.date_stamp ,hs.seq_nbr) as previous_n_value ,hs.a_value ,LAG(hs.a_value,1) OVER (PARTITION BY hs.employee ORDER BY hs.employee ,hs.beg_date ,hs.date_stamp ,hs.seq_nbr) as previous_a_value ,hs.d_value ,LAG(hs.d_value,1) OVER (PARTITION BY hs.employee ORDER BY hs.employee ,hs.beg_date ,hs.date_stamp ,hs.seq_nbr) as previous_d_value ,hs.act_obj_id ,hs.date_stamp ,hs.time_stamp ,hs.data_type ,hs.pos_level FROM hrhistory hs LEFT OUTER JOIN persacthst pac ON (hs.act_obj_id = pac.obj_id and hs.employee = pac.employee) JOIN (SELECT * FROM padict WHERE topic LIKE 'E%') pd ON (hs.fld_nbr = pd.fld_nbr) WHERE hs.employee <> 0 This pulls from the HRHISTORY table, all the values stored for employee.  It links the PERSACTHST to pull in the action information and PADICT for the field name.  For the PADICT table I restricted the fields to the ones with a topic E1, E2 etc.

If you are looking in S3, You may be able to get the data you need via PA340, HR65 (HR170), PA105 or HR105.

In LTM version 10, you'd go to: Start ==> data ==> la ==> Business Class ==> ActionRequest to find all request. Then you can do: Option ==> Export to csv or Option ==> Print to file You might also want to go to: Start ==> Data ==> ASYNC ==> Business Class ==> AsyncActionRequest Is this the information you were looking for? Regards
