Custom Business Class

Can we create custom business class in LTM (We are on 10.x) ? Some thing like dbdef in S3.

Hi Srini Rao, I don't believe it is possible to create custom business classes/tables at this time.  The only things that are somewhat along these lines are custom "user fields" on existing BCs, and their new "cross reference" table that is intended for use by IP.  Both of these leverage existing business classes to "mimic" table mods. I really wish they would add this option, but I'm not holding my breath. Kelly

I wonder too if this is something they might roll out in future releases as more and more clients express their frustration about this limitation.

I've heard that this functionality is supposed to be added to config console a Landmark release late this year. However, I'm not sure what level of functionality will be available. Currently the config console is limited to user interface changes - meaning business logic is not modifiable. If they stick with that restriction, then we may be able to add (virtual) tables and forms, but will probably have very limited ability to apply business logic. I hope I'm wrong about that restriction.
