Hi Sameera, We really can't help with the information you provided. It sounds like there is a problem with your connection URL, or maybe your username/password (less likely). On the login page, the "Server" field should include the server name and port, but should not include http/https/etc. It should just be servername:port. Be sure the SSL checkbox is checked if required (and not checked if not). Note that my Spreadsheet designer is v9.2.5 rather than v10, but I think this is still the same. Good Luck. Kelly

Hi Kelly Thanks for the reply. I tried to login to the spreadsheet designer using the following credentials (attachement 1) & getting the error in attachment 2. 1. Username/ Password - do we have to use the application username or database username ? 2. Port No. - Is it correct to use the SQL port ? Any idea how to sort this issue  Best Regards Sameera

Hi Sameera, Sorry, I missed your update.  The login information is all application rather than database - login user/password are the same as TM and URL points to the application - but the port may be different than the port for Rich Client or IPA Designer.  Some installations have different end points for different connections, so you'll need to get the correct URL/Port for SpreadsheetDesigner from your sysadmin (or managed services, if under an AMS contract).

Hi Kelly Thanks for the update. We manage to login to the spreadsheet designer. The issue was with the port no.  Once we select the environment from the spreadsheet designer it takes very long time to load the list of business classes. Is this a common issue ? Thanks  Sameera

It depends what you mean by "very long time". In our environments, it probably takes 15-20 seconds for it to load, because it has to run a "buildprod" command in the background to make the information available to the application. IPA does the same thing when you try to use the Landmark "builder" functionality. This also happens the first time you open a form for a prodline in Rich Client.

Are you still having the issue? Most of the time issue is with WAS, you need to recycle the WAS.
