We will be bringing in  Employee history i.e. Position history, Payrate History, Location history etc  from  Lawson 10.x to GHR v11.

Do we need to upload the history in sequential order wrt. to date for each employee in GHR? Is there a faster way to achieve this ?

Can we use spreasheet designer to achieve this ?

Suggestions are welcome.

Rgds,

Vijay

We are converting to GHR from S3 with RPI as our consultants. One of their technical consultants came up with a method to bring our history over. He did say you have to do it in order . Benefits data has been the hardest so far. Once you put in a current benefits, you can't go back and add history. I don't know all the technical aspects of it, but I know it's possible!

Thanks for your response  Kristie.

I am extracting history records from PAEMPPOS and formatting them and putting them in order so that I can I can upload them in the respective staging tables on GHR. The effort involved in cleaning the data is huge as there are thousands of history records.

Well I don't think there is a shortcut  :) so will be following the regular route & seems like i have to upload the history muliple time to get it right .

Rgds,

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

I see that you were able to figure this out. Could you please share the method approach you took? I am asking this because we will be running into the same challenge.

Actually, we read somewhere (I do not remember where) that it is possible to perform an Employee Position History Import, so I was wondering if you have taken this approach, and if so, could you please share your inputs :) that would be really helpful.

Kind regards,

Karla.
