BS06.1 Benefits Cycle Rules

We've always just added records to the BS06.1 each year prior to OE and had one record per pay plan - we have groups on different OE dates and cycles.


I was thinking more about this.  I think we should/could be adding one record each year and let the system calculate all cycles and dates with the calculate/add function.


What do others do?  Am I thinking correctly?

I may have just been reminded of our issue with the calculate, Add function for us. Our first pay period for cycle 26 would run from 12/23/2018 through 01/05/2019, when I attempt to add the record, it says first cycle end date year must match effective date year. That doesn't work for us. Am I missing something? Thoughts?
