My company provides a LTD plan that pays 60% of your salary if you are disabled.  This premium is company paid.  At the time of disability, the 60% pay an associate receives is taxed.  We would like to change this moving forward by taxing each associate on the company paid premium amount.  This will then allow an associate that needs to go on LTD to receive their 60% tax free.

The company paid premium is not the same for everyone.  It based on an associates salary.  The formula is:

Annual salary/12 = monthly salary
(Monthly salary/100) x .415 = monthly LTD premium
Monthly LTD premium/2 = LTD premium per pay period

We need to create a pay code (kind of like GTL) that would be create a time record for each associate each pay period.

Has anyone does this before or know how to accomplish this in Lawson?

Thanks,
Mike

I know this is very hold but how did you get this to work in S3? We have difficulty with this topic - if you can share that would be great!
