New Hire - HR stops

Anyone ever had a situation where you can no longer enter a new hire ?

We get a error on lower screen that item groups exceeded - but that has been displaying for a some time - without stopping new hire process.

We enter new hire on HR11 .. then it auto populates all the tax fields etc via pr13 screens.

windows, sql 2005, apps 9.0.04, env 9.0.0.8
