When we went live with Lawson in February 2016, we were told that when we make updates to positions, we need to keep the effective date 1/1/1950. However, we have run into some issues with that logic. We are getting a bunch of retroactive history updates on PA55 that I have to clear out at least twice a week. When you guys update a position on PA02, do you use the current date? I see this as more logical so that you can see the history of the position as well.
Anyone else do it differently?
