Hi-
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to manually trigger an IPA flow?  I am referring to the 'Trigger a Flow' function in bpm/menu.do for Eclipse Designer.  I do not see anything similar under 'Process Server Administrator' on the Landmark side.  Thanks!

Hi Lynne - Yes, you can.  If you go to "Process Server Administrator >> Process Scheduling >> By Process Definition", you can add a new "Process Trigger" for a particular flow.  Once you select the process and give it a Title (and filters, if appropriate) and save, you can add variables (if required) and save again.

Once the Trigger is saved, you can then go to Actions>>Start to trigger the flow.  You can trigger the flow from either the "By Process Definition (i.e. "Process Triggers") or "Process Trigger" screens.

FYI - these instructions are for Landmark 9.2.5, but I'm pretty sure Landmark 10 is the same.  Our LM10 system is currently down, so I can't verify that right now.

I hope this helps!

Thank you, Kelly. This does help. We are on Landmark 9 also. I will try it.

Hi Kelly,

In regards to triggering flows, in LTM, if a user goes to the Requisition Dashboard and right-clicks on an Open requisition (along the left side of the screen) and selects either Fill Requisition, Cancel, or Close I want to fire off a custom flow that I create.  I don't see triggers for this. Is it possible to create one?

Thanks.

If you are using LMRK10/TM10, I believe you can modify those actions to call a custom Pfi Service which you can then link to a custom Pflow. You would do this with the Configuration Console. Unfortunately, we aren't on v10 yet, so we haven't done anything with this - though we are looking forward to the option.

I recommend that you check out the Configuration Console User Guide and look for "Form Action Configurations".
