Ok,
I may be way off target here (or crazy..) but need to ask this question. I won't go into alot of detail but...

We're looking at upgrading to sql 2005, and to avoid the huge fees involved, we are considering using MySql as the db platform (yes don't laugh too hard). Is MySql certified or has anyone used it or planning?

Also, another one...
Is Apple's OS10 server usable with 9.0?

We're currently on win2k3 with sql 2003.

Yes I know, shot in the dark but need to ask.

No and No.
However, given that LSF 9 is bundled with DB2, you could use it instead "for free".
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

Yes, John is right.
Right now Lawson can't be used with Mac OS and MySQL is not certified to be used with Lawson. The installation is difficult, you cannot have a cap file other than ORACLE, SYBASE, INFORMIX & SYBASE.
