I see a number of deactivated users in the Registry of UserMap. Should that be cleaned up once in awhile? What would be the benefit/downside of remove users that are not actually active in AD and have no security classes assigned to them?

Were they deleted via Lawson Security Admin first? (If you are on LSF9.x.x)

These IDs were not deleted from Security Admin, only de-activated. The company seems apprehensive about deleting a user that is no longer active being uncertain of how that might affect the application or if any automation was attached to any of the IDs.

most transactions in the database backend has record of who created or who modified a record using the UID. (NTXXXXXXXXXXX) etc. If you removed the deactivated user from the registry, you would not know who made the transaction when it comes audit time.

If you must remove the deactivated user, record down the info first.
