Is anyone familiar with building LDAP queries using Softerra LDAP Browser 2.6? If so, I need help please...
I've got a query that returns userid, first name, last name, roles assigned, product line, etc. (From O=lwsnrmdata)
However, I also need to identify the employee company and employee number for the same users identified in the first query. (From O=lwsnSecData)
Does anyone know if there is a way that I can generate a more complex query that will return both sets of data?
Thank you.

We use the DB2 tools that came with the Tivoli/DB2 install.
And if you are using employee self-service, you could potentially get the company and employee number that you are looking for. We are using the DB2 utilities to extract Company and Employee Number to update Active Directory.
sh -c "/usr/bin/db2ldif -o
-I
-s cn=
We then use some other scripting to extract the fields that we need, because the output file is quite ugly.

I have the same need to list the employee company and employee number in lwsnSecData and tie it back to the RM information in lwsnrmdata. We have a perl script that was developed to pull this information, but it takes a significant amount of time to run.
We have the the LDAPAdmin product, and I would like to use it to pull this information. Does anybody know how to tie the above information in LDAPAdmin?
Thanks!

maryclare,
We use Softerra LDAP Broswer 2.6 and the following is the syntax that we use to pull employee company and employee number inoformation...
Search DN:CN=DEV_EMPLOYEE,OU=svcxref,O=lwsnSecData,CN=lwsn,DC=mvnhealth (where DEV is the product line designation)
Filter: lwsnssoAllAttrValueList=*
Attributes: lwsnssoAllAttrValueList,lwsnssoListOfIDs
I hope this helps.

The easiest way to do this is to use ProcessFlow and the ResourceQuery node.
If you have ProcessFlow Integrator, you can also pump it into a database table via SQL Update.
