To all, I know that the LAWDIR environment variable typically points to the directory path where the Lawson product lines and server configuration files are located. This location also include the "print" directory that is used to store user print files and job reports.

Is there any way to store the LAWDIR\print folder in another location, such as on another disk drive, and away from the actual LAWDIR directory? What I want to be able to do is keep all of my Lawson application program files, configuration files, etc. on one disk drive and all user print files on another.

Is something like this possible?

This is easy to do on Unix at least with a soft link ( using the ln -s command ).

I believe that Windows can do the same although I haven't tried this. If you have a empty drive, you could go to Disk Manager and try changing the mount point path for the empty drive to LAWDIR\print.
