We have installed Env 9.0.1. We are at Websphere 6.1.0.25 & are up-to-date with fixpacks & packs(incl the ifix from LAwson). No issues unstalling the base MSCM. But when we try to install MPC 9.0.1 the following error occurs: ADMA5006E: An error occurred configuring mscm in WebSphere Application Server repository: java.lang.StackOverflowError Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Lawson has a KB article that states WAS 6.1 FixPacks above 21 should not be used for now. That includes 23 and 25. The "stable" ones are 19 and 21. An attempt to deploy MSCM in FP 23 or 25 may indeed result in the issue you describe.

This is a known issue with MSCM and WAS 6.1.0.13 and higher I'm assuming you didn't read the install guide :> You can get a hotfix/patch available from the IBM web site. http://www-01.ibm.com/sup....wss?uid=swg24024050

That's it. The fix from ibm website did the trick.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

This is a known issue with MSCM and WAS 6.1.0.13 and higher. Lawson recommends installing to WAS 6.1.0.12, or you can get a hotfix/patch available from the IBM web site. CRITICAL NOTIFICATION: Description: The StackOverflowError error message in system logs for both WINDOWS and UNIX environment during installation is now resolved. IBM Technical Support Group provided an iFIX in order for MSCM/SIM/POU 9.0.1 to be installed with Websphere 6.1 FP 23 or FP25. The iFIX can be downloaded in the following link: http://www-01.ibm.com/sup....wss?uid=swg24024050
