Encountering challenges installing MSCM on 64-bit UP-UniX Itanium. Has
anyone successfully accomplished this? As an alternative, has anyone
installed MSCM on a 32-bit Unix server or Windows, pointing it back to
64-bit UP-UniX Itanium Lawson server? Is a remote server install even an
option?

Thanks!

We are currently testing MSCM on a Windows box, pointed back to our Lawson Solaris 64 bit Unix App Server, so yes, a remote server install is an option. You need to have Samba running on your Unix box to access the files and copy them across, but that's really not a bad option in my opinion.

Greg - thanks for your feedback. That sounds like a great arrangement. I appreciate it!

Our MSCM is hosted on a Windows server, Lawson is on AIX. This had to be done for performance reasons and was done by Lawson consultants. So any system that Lawson says is supported, you should be able to use.
