WebSphere useid and password

Can you tell me what applications use the websphere userid and password.
For example the MSCM.properities files has this information are there other applications that would hold this informaiton as well.

The client is considering changing the Websphere userid and password and I'm curious the effects.

As far as I know, the websphere user ID and password is only used in Websphere admin console to secure Websphere console.  I don't know if it's used or stored within MSCM.properties.
