Does anyone have or know where I can get some documentation that tells me what each field on the "edit RM information" screen is used for?  We recently upgraded our environment to 9.0.1.5 and I noticed there are some new fields and some fields were taken away.  I would like to know if I could be using these fields for something useful.

It is in a nutshell all the information that was on RD30 that is now stored in "lawson" LDAP. You can add your own variables in the LDAP schema but have to populate them as well using whatever utilities your LDAP server has depending on if it is ADAM or Tivoli. What fields do you have questions on?.

FYI the "My Data" area of the old RD30 was changed to "Services" in the RM, for example there is a service called (example product line of TEST) TEST_EMPLOYEE which contains two attributes of COMPANY and EMPLOYEE which is used by ESS/MSS, another called TEST_REQUESTER which is used by RSS etc.

The "Lawson Administration, Resources and Security" manual, Appendix A has a listing/description of all RM attributes. Which attributes are you referring to?

Any ideas on how to change the defaults in the RM Add User Wizard? I want to set them to a template for our basic ESS user profile to speed up creating new ESS users.

I should add - I dont want to use loaduser utility to load new users - that utiliyy made a frightful mess of our production system 48 hours before ESS go live - despite extensive sucessful testing in our TEST envt. I am trying to figure out a way to change the default setting in the RM New user GUI tool for the occasional new user creations.

You can assign a default value in the RM Schema Editor
