Good morning,

Has anyone found a way to secure Service Identities in security administrator? I'm setting up security for other sec admins and I haven't been able to find a way of security the identities. I've looked far and wide but nothing yet. Lawson is also saying it can't be done.

Really?

Ok, anyone have any ideas?

Thank you in advance,
Roger

Roger,
Only Security Objects can be secured. It doesn't seem that it ever occured to Lawson to make identity data a securable object.

There are only 17-22 (I forget the exact count now) of SecObj types, and Idents are not one.

Thanks Kwane,
That's what I wanted to confirm, that it can't be done.

Nope...

The best you can do currently is secure at the RMO and RMA level...That's it.
Anything stored under lwsnSecData (ie: xref) is NOT considered an RMA.
