I'm not an admin, but in accounting with some database programming experience. I've been using the S3 Query Wizard, but would like to do aggregate functions on large data sets (>1million txns). Is there a free report writer that works with Lawson? Or, is there another way to do this?

Its not free, but we purchased Spreadsheet Server about a year ago and it is an absolutely fantastic reporting tool. Simple to use, powerful, and fast. All GL reporting is done in Excel so formatting couldn't be easier. Highly recommended to any bean counter! feel free to contact me with any questions you have.
