Smartnote tables look fine in IE but don't look that great in Outlook 2010 (since it uses the Word html renderer). You can see in the image below that the table header and the detail rows extend out past the end of the table. Has anyone come up with a way to modify the templates to make smartnotes look a little better in Outlook 2010? If I change the source to have the correct number of columns in the colspan of the header, the table looks fine in Outlook 2010, but I don't believe I can control that as part of the template.

Jess, Thats a tough one. Outlook does not play nice with CSS. There are some hacks Ive used, including playing with data types and data type links but its not exact by any stretch of the imagination. If you want 100% (or at least in the upper 90th percentile), youll need to write your own CSS specifically for Outlook to format the tables. Theres a lot of good references out there if you google for "CSS for Outlook". My favorite is http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/.
