Not sure if this is more appropriate for the Interface section or not, but is mostly dealing with how others run their Supply Chain, so...

Anyone using a Point of Use scanning product-like ParExcellence-to scan items taken from a PAR location and feeding that information back into Lawson for replenishment? Or directly to the vendor for replenishment?

Seems like a simple RQ500 interface is all that's needed, just wondering about anyone elses experiences with a similar products or processes.

Thanks

We just started using ParExcellance and Lawson together... Yes, a simple RQ500 interface is all that is needed. There is a specific setup needed, though, that will get you your feedback documents for your supply usage. ParEx knows quite a bit about working with Lawson... so you could ask those folks too.

I've used several POU Interfaces from Pyxis, Omnicell, Supply Scan to Par EX. Yes, Par EX has several Lawson sites and they are very helpful to the install/conversion process. I have found that if you can program an interface to do any format the best choice is RQ511 because Lawson will do the work for you in formatting to the RQ500 needs.

POU is now available in three hardware interfaces, desktop, handheld, and touchscreen. It feeds replenishment for Par locations direct to Lawson backoffice. It also integrates to ADT to get patient information and Billing system.
