Auto Inquire on custom form (PA22)

I created a form based off of PA22 for employee to be able to self submit the language acquired directly to the form. I've added the form to ESS and default the company and employee fields to default them-self but need to form to auto inquire. Does anyone know if there's a way? Maybe some java coding in the back ground? All helps/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

There is a Form setting to push the Inquire when the form loads.

Within Design Studio, go to the properties of the Form and set Initial Form Action to Inquire

Thank you so much. May I ask another question? Is there a way to restrict what is displaying? For example, on form PA21 I only want certain competency to display once inquired.

Ricky - Are you using the full functionality of PA21? or just using it to obtain data from EMPCODES for that specific competency? Short answer is "not really" but there may be more than one way to get to the data you are looking for. Or you can easily clone PA21 and make a Cobol change that limits the recordset. Certainly options exist.

My ultimate goal is to have a user interface setup in ESS that allow employees to add competency to form PA21 but at the same time I don't want them to see other existing competencies that was entered by HR.
