Hey all. I'm looking to size a server for LSO (s3) Checking out their Lawson Smart Office Installation Guide, Lawson only mentions: Windows 2008 Server R2 x64 Standard, Enterprise, or Data Center Edition and IIS, IBM HTTP Server for Window   I'm looking for a ballpark estimate regarding CPU/RAM/etc., especially if anyone here has a LSO server up and running, and can tell me what their experience is. Many thanks Phil

We are running Win 2008 R2 x64 Enterprise. Ram 8G, CPU Dual Core 2.66Ghz, Virtual. The comments from people so far is that LSO is faster than Portal from an end user experience. Let me know if you need more details

Thanks, that definitely clues me in.  How many users do you have on it? Thanks again, Phil

LSO doesnt tax the server but rather the client pcs, you will want to make sure you have good GPUs in addition to enough memory and cpu on the local pc. Also using Win7 your org can not use roaming profiles or you will not be able to utilize the 1 click deployment of LSO
