Save PDF from LSO

When we open up a print job in ISO with the default PDF, there is no option to Save the report - we have to Save As, which then goes to temporary folders.

When we open up a print job in Portal/Mingle with the default PDF, the report can be saved, and the folder location is saved. So when payroll is saving print jobs, they

have to move to portal/Mingle to do it. I thought I had seen something regarding this issue in one of the forums but I can't locate it. Is there a setting or a workaround for this?

Thanks for pointing out this issue. There is no work-around that I know of.
As you may be aware, in the Jobs and Reports areas Portal/Ming.le and ISO use different sets of LSF services to retrieve data.
However, this is one area where ISO should probably use the same service as Portal.

I have noticed the most recent version of Adobe reader does maintain a history of recent folders much like the latest Office products do, but given the way ISO retrieves and displays the PDF, the on-screen Save button is still disabled. I will consider this as a possible enhancement to ISO in a future hot fix.

Mary, the most recent release of ISO, 10.2.1.0.77 now has a user setting on the Jobs & Reports tab to specify a folder in which to automatically save PDF files.
