AM292 - Recapture Report
Run Recapture Report (AM292) to print a report of depreciation and tax
credit recapture by book. Since this report prints by book, items are not on
the report. There are two types of recapture, as indicated in the Report
Option field: depreciation (D) and tax credit (T). Each option creates a
separate report.
The depreciation recapture report includes the asset basis, recapture
percent, and depreciation recapture. The tax credit recapture report includes
the asset basis, tax credit percent, tax credit taken, recapture percent, and
the tax credit recapture. The report can help complete U.S. tax forms 4797 and
4255.
