Compute Statements
This file contains compute statements, which are a combination of data
dictionary items and mathematical operations. RW50.1 (Compute Statement)
updates this file. This file is shared by the Allocations, Report Writer,
Ratio Analysis, and Budgeting applications.

FIELD NAME DESCRIPTION/VALID VALUES UPDATED BY
CMP-COMPUTE-NAME Alpha 12 RW50.1
Element: Compute Name This is the name assigned to an
algebraic equation created in RW50.1
(Compute Statement). A compute
statement consists of data dictionary
items and mathematical operation
symbols.
CMP-FOLDER-NAME Alpha 12 RW50.1
Element: Folder Name This is the name of a folder.
Folders are defined in RW01.1 (Folder).
CMP-A-COMPUTE Alpha 280 RW50.1
Element: Compute StatemA compute statement is an algebraic
formula consisting of mathematical
operators and Lawson data dictionary
items.
CMP-CASE-CODE Alpha 44 Occurs 40 Times RW50.1
Element: Case Code A case code represents internal data
dictionary information. Case codes are
used to access data dictionary items
requested in the compute statement.
CMP-OP-CODE Numeric 2 Occurs 40 Times RW50.1
Element: Operation CodeThis is the internal operation code.
Operation codes are used in compute
statements, which can be defined in
RW50.1 (Compute Statement).
CMP-AU-FLAG Numeric 1 RW50.1
Element: Accounting UniThis field indicates whether to
override the default accounting unit in
the computation.
Use 1 to override the defined accounting
unit. Use 2 to override the generic
accounting unit defined.
CMP-BUD-FLAG Alpha 1 RW50.1
Element: Budget Flag This field indicates whether the budget
number must be supplied.
