We are having an issue with several items that do not bring back a search when using the catalog search in RQC; however you can search for it in express order without issue.  I have checked IC11,PO13.3,and PO25.6.  Everything looks in order.  We do use contract management so not sure if that would have an impact on the search or not.  Does anyone have any suggestions before I log an incident with Infor.  Thanks for you time.

We had an issue where it would not find part numbers with * or / in them. It was resolved in a version change, so I don't have the JT on me. Support should be able to find it.

We had an issue with 1 user where if the PO13 was inactive for one vendor the search would fail, even though it was active under another vendor under the same vendor item. I got with Infor who could not resolve. As a workaround the user now searches in Special/Service without any problems. She actually prefers it. Hope this helps.

We've discovered an issue with the search catalog and I've narrowed it down to items where the mfg item and vendor item have a combination of alpha-numeric with a . (period). For instance many of our IOLs are built this way: MX60T 16.0 3.50 or PCB000014.0 or ZXT150 20.0. If I search by entering the complete number it comes up fine but if I search using only a part of the number like PCB or MX60 or even 150 20.0, I get zilch. Actually when I search PCB I do get some results like M001PCB5020900 which lead me to believe the problem has something to do with the period in the number.

I seem to remember that this was and issue in RQC that was fixed in the latest patch. Not sure your issue is in RQC though.
