I would like to lot track "N" type items on receipts only. There is a "Serial Tracked" flag on IC11 but it seems to have no functionality. Is anyone doing this? I do not get prompted on PO30 to add a serial number based on the IC11 setting regardless if the item is an "N" or "I" type.

I'm on v10 and have both Serial and Lot Tracking on IC11. You have to select R (receipt) or I (Issues) -- if it is R, you should be prompted to enter a lot/serial prior to releasing PO30 and issuing the item. If it's I you should only be prompted if it's an I item leaving inventory.

I only have a few inventory items tracked, but I did not realize that non-stock with R would allow PO30 releases?
