I'm looking for assitance in acquiring some Purchasing and Matching training. My team's schedule is too convoluted to effectively send them to a training course, and not large enough to make brining Lawson on site cost effective. Does anyone know any PO/MA functional consultants who would be willing to provide 2-3 days worth of end-user training for 9.0.1 PO and MA? Thanks.

I can provide this training for your team. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss further.

Hi - I teach classes in the Procurement Suite (IC,RQ,PO,MA,AP) for 9.0.1 upgrades, and I can deliver this training to your team and put together a curriculum pretty quickly using some of my existing class materials. I'm a Procurement / Technical Principal Consultant - and I can also address some of the more advanced material surrounding EDI Invoicing, EDI Receipts and Process Flow etc.

Let me know how I can help - I'm based in PHX and it's a quick hop over to SoCal or can also work remotely if that is what you prefer.

        Thanks,
        Rob

I am interested in acquiring user manuals for Lawson 9 for Procurement. I am buyer in an organization that has had Lawson for several years... I am relatively new to the company and for the 3 years I have been there, have received zero documented Lawson manuals. We use the Procurement Suite on a daily basis, Also have the AP Suite. We are currently in the design phase of Ariba Procure to Order with Lawson. Many users need additional Lawson training, but none is available because the system has been around for too long. We have new employees that are not nearly as effective as they could be, because they are learning shortcuts and workarounds for old timers, but no really good solid Lawson knowledge. Anyone know where I could get my hands on a manual for Lawson 9? Thanks!

You should be able to get the manuals off MyLawson in PDF form. I would start there (get support/knowledge base/product documentation).

There are several virtual lab classes for matching that can be taken through the Lawson support site. Other than this Lawson is now delivering hot topics webinar every month both for S3 and M3 customers and I have seen a matching class before. if you did not attend it you can do the already recorded webinars that Lawson delievered.

Other than this CUE sessions for matching and procurement are very useful.

              hth,
              Ruma.
