Hi - we are single-tenant hosted and moving to multi-tenant. We are currently in the planning stages for our OS Conversion. Infor has stated that the apps are not touched during the conversion process. Has anyone gone through the OS Conversion process? Did you experience any issues during or after the process? Can you confirm that the apps were not impacted by the conversion? Thanks.

We just completed our production Infor OS conversion a week ago. Our apps were not impacted and overall everything went smooth. The only major issue we had was related to one of our internal provisioning process that changed the new SSOP identity back from the guid that was assigned by the conversion to our network ID. The conversion team helped us quickly identify and fix the issue.

We are currently working on the data cleanup part that is required before they will start the conversion. We should be live in our DEV in the next week or so. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you for the reply Dan. Glad to see things went well. We have noted the SSOP issue and will monitor. Did you encounter that issue in TEST?

          Thanks.

We just completed our cleanup and are scheduled for our lower environments next week. Good luck!

No, we did not encounter the SSOP issue in TEST because we don't automatically provision users in our test environment.

                Hey Dan,
We have a provisioning flow that creates the ThickClient, SSOP, and Employee identities. It sounds like I should remove the piece that adds the SSOP identity. Does your flow create the Thickclient and Employee identities? We also add users base roles and add most attributes that ESS only users need for initial setup. Any advice or insight is appreciated!

                Thanks in advance!

                  Joy,
Our process sounds very similar to yours. You need to remove the SSOP ID part of the process but keep the rest. If you want to talk to our SysAdmin, who handles our provisioning flows, message me, and we can set something up.

As part of cleaning the data to get ready for the conversion we have to verify everyone has an email address. I'm curious how some of you handled this at your companies for contractors, service accounts, ets that don't have emails but still need to get into the system.

                          Hi Melissa,

We created valid email accounts for all of the items you noted. Our server team created the email accounts in AD and then we created the matching email in ISA.

                          Thanks,
                          Neil
