Hi - thanks in advance for any feedback. We want to add Payee Name to our positive pay file to Bank of America for AP. Initially - it seemed as simple as taking the Legal Name from AP10 (APVENMAST) and putting it into the Payee Name in the CD0200R record for BofA. In our Lawson system - our AP staff also may put additional "payee" information in the first couple of address lines and then have the last line for the actual address. Bank of America is failing all of these payments because they validate that what is in the address line is a actual valid address. They state our only options were: a. Stop using address lines for additional payee information and only for address lines or b. String the Payee Name and all address lines into the Payee Name field in the BofA Positive Pay record but the caveat to that is the maximum number of characters is 100. We have almost 350 vendors that will exceed that 350 character maximum so any payments to these vendors will fail the positive pay validation. We are trying to prevent fraud but we were hoping it wasn't at the expense of creating a great deal of additional work for our AP staff to push these failed transactions manually through CashPro. I'm in IT and am working on this feed for them - but I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has run into this and if you had found another way. - Laura
