A user allocates benefits costs from the Benefits Accounting unit to the department accounting units using Cost Allocation. Is there a way to round the amounts so the Benefits Accounting Unit is reduced to zero automatically for each account instead of leaving a few pennies presumably due to rounding?

No, Lawson rounding will always leave some pennies behind. However, you can "write-off" those pennies so that the Allocation does net to zero. We have a compute statement for the allocations we want to net to zero. create a RW60, Total Range, that combines the total source of the allocation with the total of the "to" allocations. Then make a RW70, Total Name, using the Total Range you created. Next make a compute statement, RW50, (example: CPTOT(NETCUSTSER)*1 ) then pick an accounting Unit and Account that you want to write the pennies off to, add the lines to your Allocation, using the write off compute statement, and make sure your write off line is at least one step higher than the rest of the allocation. That takes care of those annoying pennies!
