    Job Title: Lawson Procurement Resource
    Location: REMOTE
    Duration: 3 months contract to direct hire
    Responsibilities:
    • Multiple work assignments including: configuring, testing, documenting, upgrading and implementing systems and/or software
    • Follow Velocity Professional Services project and consulting methods and processes
    • Ensuring client requirements are met by actively soliciting, identifying, and responding to customer questions and assisting with issue resolution
    • Working collaboratively and build relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third-party consultants
    • They should be comfortable working with highly knowledgeable Lawson end-users and able to quickly understand unique client requirements and configurations.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of 4 years of Procurement consulting plus experience with Lawson S3 Procurement products
    • Ability to manage multiple client assignments, tasks and priorities, and work independently
    • Successful completion of at least two full lifecycle ERP implementations of a major enterprise suite
    • Adept at designing and implementing technology enabled business solutions for clients
    • Previous experience as a Team lead on at least two full cycle implementations
    • Must be able to consult at "C" level and influence process direction/decisions
    • Proven ability to develop/implement best practices, guides and processes
    • Ability to travel up to 100%
    • Lawson training completion and certifications
    Skills
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Lawson 9.0 Procurement applications, Purchase Order, Requisitions, Invoice Matching, RQC
    • Experience with MSCM, fax integrator and EDI
    • Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing experience a plus
    • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
    • Solid understanding of the software implementation process, including requirements, gathering, analysis, tools and technologies, and testing methodologies
    • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
    • Strong management skills
    • Technical proficiency in hardware and systems software, as well as experience implementing packages and working with vendors
    • Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills for refining existing theories or developing new system approaches to seize opportunities and sustain business success
    • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
    • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
    • Ability to operate under a dual reporting relationship (IT, customers)
    • Travel required
