Delivered IPAs

I was not able to find any detailed documentation on those flows. The documentation only provides general information as a framework. However, I've learned alot by looking at the delivered flows themselves.

 

To find those flows - open Infor Process Designer (IPD) and log in to your IPA server. You'll then go to "Tools>Manage Processes" and wait a while as IPD retrieves the list of Process Flows on your server. In the window that pops up,  you'll find the "Add Address" flow near the top. Check the box next to the flow and click "Download". This will let you save the flow locally for modification.

I'd just pull apart and study the flows (it's the best documentation you'll find :) )

 

To upload back to the server ( which you only want to do if you know you should) - save the flow, then go to "Process>Upload Process".

Just a note - If I'm not mistaken, the flows you mentioned are no longer used by the delivered application. They were replaced with "state changes" which do not have related flows. This happened around v9.2 The notification emails are handled behind-the-scenes and we have little control over anything other than the email text, which is managed by going to AdminMenu>>Resources>>Set Up>>Email, then going to Email Automation and Email Templates. I imagine that by using ConfigurationConsole you could remove this behavior and route the actions back to a service/flow, but it would take some doing.

We're on 10.0.x Landmark and TM 10.1.x - the AddAddress, ChangeAddress (etc.), flows are still actively used. These are managed under the PfiServiceDefinitions. I think you might be thinking of the TA-specific state changes for actions in Requisitions and other areas. Those state changes are also used on delivered Landmark forms, but all of those delivered flows listed above are still activated by their respective forms (depending on your setup of course :) ).

My apologies - I guess this may have been a decision we made as a business to block the actions that trigger those flows. We haven't used AddAddress or ChangeName since 2011, but ChangeAddress is still used by our administrative process, and we have it using through our "Immediate Approve" flow rather that the delivered flow. Sorry for the confusion.
