GHR FTE Question

    In S3 we have work assignments that have a 0 FTE such as Substitute Teachers or Extra Duty assignments and do not count toward and employee's benefits.  Now that we're moving over to GHR we're finding that FTE is required on every assignment if a payrate is part of a work assignment.  We're being told to use .000001 as the FTE on these assignments, but we do have employees with .499999 FTE and if we add an additional assignment using that logic it would put them into benefit eligibility (.5 FTE or above).  

     

    Has anyone run into this issue and how did you resolve the problem?
