Benefits Enrollment - ESS

    We are on Lawson 9.0 environment.

    When an employee gets to the end of ESS benefit enrollment and selects "keep these benefits," he gets the error message "not authorized to access employee information."  If he selects "okay, " he gets the message that is benefits have not been updated.  However, his selections are correctly going to BS31.

    Has anyone encountered this error message before and know the solution?  Thank you.

      This is more than likely a security class issue. Are you using LAUA security or 9.0 Lawson Security? Make sure the security class associated with your self-service users has access to HR13, BN31, BS30, BS31, BS32

        Thank you for your response. I was just about to give you more information when we figured out the problem.

        If a current benefit did not have a stop date on BN32, it was being added on BS31 at the same time the employee's new benefit selections were added through the enrollment process. This caused the error message and also prevented the employee from going back and making changes to his benefit elections.

        We have used ESS for open enrollment for four years and never had this problem before.
