Does anyone know if there is any way to automate the process of converting applicant data from PA31 to employee data in HR11?
Presently, our applicant data is loaded using PA531 from an external system (SAP) into PA31. Once a final decision to hire is made, the HR staff manually processes a PA52.4 to create the employee record. I'd like to remove as much manual processing from this processas I can, but am discouraged by what I have so far found to be my options for doing so.
Is use of MS Add-Ins the only way to "automate" this conversion/hire process? I would have thought there may have been a batch job of some sort that would conbine the relevant PA31 data with the default data from the associated PA02 record to "automatically" create the HR11 record. But, I don't find anything like that, so am wondering if the staff developing an Add-Ins upload is the closest option they have to automating this presently manual process.
Any insight on other's experience, or tips or tricks, would be appreciated. Thanks again in advance!
p.s. - I did find a potentially related prior thread here on Guru from back in 2011/2012 which referenced KB article#1030136 on a PA52 upload. however, I was uinable to read the actual article becasue that article does not come up when I do a search on infor Concierge.
We use an IPA flow that utiiizes PA31 and PA52.4.
Hi Todd. Thank youy for the response. Is there any possiblility that you'd be willing to share that flow, or at least some of the details of it? I did dabble in IPA a few years ago, but don't have much experience creating too many flows. Thanks.
Sure thing. I tried to include the the .lpd but it was denied. I will take a screen shot and save it as a image and send that along.
Flow attached

is there special permission to download an attachement.
Thank You.
