I notice that a group of new process flow services are available with 9.0.1... Can I assume that since these services have triggers and run flows that we can set up inbaskets etc based on a managers EMSS Action?

You can set up and trigger MSS manager actions (such as transfers, hires, promotion, leave, demotion, termination, etc.) using processflow. The Pflow reference manual has some instructions on how to specifically do it. Basically you use the provided flow for Salary Change, and modify it to allow the specific personnel actions you wish to use with MSS/Processflow.

..so if a manager does a termination I can write a flow to route it to a person in HR to look over, and that person can via inbaskets let it go on or stop it?

Basically I'm trying to figure out if I have PF functionality with EMSS Transactions.

Technically the inbasket has nothing to do with EMSS. If you can build a flow around a process then you can use the inbasket. You could even create a manually triggered flow that sends a task to an inbasket or a scheduled flow that looks at something and then asks a user to determine a direction for the flow to process.

With that said - if you are using MSS and have a process that gets added to say PA52 you can trigger a flow and route it to someone for approval. If you are just going to send it to an HR person for approval then you will just need a user action in the flow that assigns a task and then assign the task to the user(s). ... If you can trigger a flow you can assign a user action. You might/probably will need to create a modified exec file for displaying information in the inbasket.

What are the new triggers in 9.0.1?
