KB 1205215 states "Add a new field called “Special Processing” to both Ethnicity HR code programs.  This field value is only valid where the Country-Code=US and Type=ET.  The new field will further refine the behavior of the user defined ethnicity code that consists of the values of H-Hispanic, M- Multiple, and U-Unknown.   This set up needs to exist to enable the "two question format in EMSS Ethnicity task.  If "Yes" is answered for question#1 for Hispanic or Latino, the ethnicity code defined with "Special Processing" H-Hispanic will be added to the employee.  If question #2 is answered, the ethnicity code defined with the "Special Processing" M-Multiple will be assigned to the employee along with the other races the employee self identified to.  If neither question is answered, the ethnicity code defined with the "Special Processing" U-Unknown will be assigned to the employee.

I set up codes for Multiple and Hispanic and Unknown on HR28. In EMSS, the Ethnicity task does not ask Question #1 and Question #2, it just has the Ethnicity Field, Update and Cancel. I have been looking through Infor Xtreme and can't find any documentation on how to make Question #1 and Question #2 appear on the Ethnicity task. Does anyone have this set up?

So - the resolution is that you can only have one Multiple and one Hispanic and one Unknown on HR28. if HR28 is blank and you have more than one of any of them, it will allow you to add them
on the first Change action. If there are more than one of each of these it will not bring up the two part question.
