Hello,

I mostly do reporting in Lawson. I am currently working on a turnover report that deals with terminated employees. When dealing with terminated employees on reports, our company goes by the Last Day Paid field as the term date. While browsing the HRHISTORY table I noticed that most employees have their last day paid stored in there, but there are a few here and there that don't. I could just use the Last Day Paid field in the EMPLOYEE table, however this is an issue because if the employee is rehired in the future then the last day paid field is changed to NULL. Does anyone know why is stored for the majority of employees and not for a select few?

Tyler.... I don't believe this field is updated automatically. I believe it is a manual update. It also appears to be used primarily for Canadian PR processing. Have you checked the HR10 form to see if it is marked as storing history?

There was a patch a few years ago because the system was not correctly populating HR history. You might have been impacted by that issue. Check the dates to see if the missing ones are around the same period....

No it wasn't checked off as being stored in HR10. I marked it, so hopefully there will be a full history in the future. For now I will just have to come up with an alternative for the people that are missing a LAST_DAY_PAID entry in HRHISTORY and were rehired. Thank you for your help!

Tyler... You will probably want to look at either PRTIME or PAYMASTR table to see if you can determine the last day paid there....
