We use MHC Document Self Service, and so far we are very happy with it.

so this gives you the option of sending a copy of your stub electronically to your email address and not just the capability to print the stub? Thanks

We use MHC as well. We don't use Self Service but it does have the capabilities to email or print pay stubs. Email addresses are entered in MHC. When payroll prints checks, it knows which to email and will print all others. The pay stub is a pdf document that is password protected. About a third of our employees receive their stub by email and so far we've been pleased with it as well.

Yes, you have the option to provide an email for delivery, or the employee can go to the DSS site (Authenticated through the Employee Website logon) and view all of their checks for the previous year. Only about 1/10th of our employees have an AD account and we can't
require
them to provide a personal email address to us, we felt it was best to give them access to the DSS site and if they chooe to provide an address then they can receive it in that fashion.

Hi Brandy,
As Laura, Frank and Jay have described, MHC offers two different options for emailing pay stubs to employees.
Option 1. Document Self-Service allows an employee to elect how they would like to receive their pay stub (via email and/or via Document Self-Service).
Option 2. e-Pay will allow you to email pay stubs directly through MHC's Document Express.
In both cases the pay stubs are generated from the Lawson PMTOUT file and emailed as password protected PDFs. For option 2, we can either pull the email addresses and passwords from Lawson or they can be stored within Document Express. If you would like to learn more and/or see a demonstration, please feel free to contact me directly at kyleh@mhccom.com or 800.588.3676 ext 297.
