Our source of record is Landmark. We then interface to S3.
In our healthcare system, we pay salary advances prior to employment. We had been doing that on 1099's but recent changes are requiring us to withhold income tax and employment FICA.
Has anyone hired employees before they work in order to do this? How do you handle the Start Date of the employee - their hire date? Do you just keep track of the dates using the adjusted date of hire or a user field?
Any input on wage advances for non-employees would be great.
