    We are unable to view print files as PDF that were run under Lawson 9 in our Lawson 10 system using the print manager . When attempting to view a Lawson 9 print file as PDF users see a message "File does not begin with '%PDF-'.Local\...."

    Looking in the print directory on Unix we see a file named DtlErr.log which contains something like:

    'DtlError: .dtl File Error #5: RptMap Stamp Mismatch: RptMap.Stamp=1426607411 XFDtlStamp=1334967926 - No Matching RptMap Version available'

    infors' solution is to rerun the job so the rptmap will match, which is totally unacceptable since many of these jobs were date sensitive and cannot be rerun for the appropriate time period. At least they didn't just say it is working as designed and tell us to suck it up, but they also haven't come up with a solution.

    Anyone have any suggestions as to a work around?

      As far as I know you'd have to go back to the LSF9 and get the old matching rptmaps from the old server ( in this case 1426607411 )and bring them over to LSF10 too. When migrating, it would have been necessary to know you wanted to do this, so that this could have been done back when it was all migrated...

        @scooby: Thanks for the tip.

        We installed Version 10 on a new server so I still have access to the old Version 9 system.

        Following process appears to work.

        Copy the .rmp files from $LAWDIR/[Lawson9_ProductLine]/rptmap/default/archive to $LAWDIR/[Lawson10_ProductLine]/rptmap/default/archive

        Edit the .dtl file in $LAWDIR/print/[user_name]/[jobname]/1/ and change the product line
        in the first line from [Lawson9_ProductLine] to [Lawson10_ProductLine]

        PDF is now viewable in Lawson10.

          According to Infor jobs are transferred with the ujobdump / ujobload commands. There is a rename option as part of the command.

          We installed Infor/Lawson10 on a new server and performed an upgrade on our old Lawson9 data. I have asked Infor if the ujobdump/ujobload would transfer the $LAWDIR/[oldproductline] /rptmap/default/archive contents automatically
