Hello, all:
I've been tasked to investigate the possibility of a searchable org chart (the one that displays in ESS/MSS would be preferable)
Anyone figured out a way to make this searchable by name? If you don't know who someone reports to and what the chain of command is above them, it's pretty difficult to find one of our 5000 employees.
Thanks for any response!

When my company purchased Lawson they thought the Org Chart was a great tool but we dont even use it because of the same thing you are saying. It really needs to be easier to search.
We create an entirely new tool outside of Lawson for our org chart (home grown) and will be looking at SharePoint in the near future. I dont understand why Lawson can't see that some of their tools are not very usable.
Has anyone made any progress? We need to be able to create organization charts based on our Lawson 9 hierarchy. I've been able to do this in Visio pulling from Active Directory, but I'd like to be able to create from Lawson where the detailed data resides. I am a beginner Crystal user, so that would be an option. Was hoping for a template so that IT developers don't have to program from scratch.
Thanks!
