I've tried adding them in the menu.do interface definitions which resulted in adding them in the logan database, but when I tried to retreive de variable in a flow it returned as 'not defined'. Is there a way to pass a value BACK to a Global Variable in Process Flow Example: Start declares var1='ONE' Then I execute System Command (Unix script) testvar.sh In my Unix script I accept the variable: variable1=$1 and then change it: variable1='TWO' and 'echo' confirms the change. I need to create a URL call that will invoke a PFI service from another system, anyone know how to do that I would like to either pass information in the URL call that the PFI service can load into Lawson or FTP a file to a folder and then invoke the PFI service to process the file delivered. We do not have scan client available.

We placed a number of personnel action flows into production. Related Lawson forms being called in the designs included HR11, PA52, PA53 and manual use of PA100. A recurring issue at this time is that the related work units are canceled by the system without reason at various times throughout the day. I'm using the Web Service Node in the PFI. My WS returns one or more records in the XML data stream. How do I detect the last record or EOF so I know when to stop processing. In PFI WS node, you can access each data element from WS using the array (0). Is there a max array counter that the PFI tool provides for us to use thanks, Tom.

I know I'm probably asking for something that does not exist, but just so that I cover my bets - I have a flow that is initiated from three separate source - and within the flow I can know what that source is. Based on that source I have three different population of users who are assigned to three different tasks. Currently the flow branches based upon that source to three separate UserAction nodes. We have a number of req approval requests for the approvals to be reassigned as people are out on vacation, etc. I am looking for a way to have our super user outside IT make this change to User Task Category Definitions but not allow access to update other flows or utilize the designer tool. I have a flow that needs to execute a pa100 to process a pa52 transaction it creates. I created the PA100 while logged in as Lawson. When I log in locally as Lawson and enter the transaction it works fine. When I log in as myself the transaction will not run. Any Ideas on how to setup the pa100 job so it will accept input from 'regular' users

FYI, If you are getting this message trying to run the ProcessFlow Administrator client on your PC, it relates to a bug in the release of Java JRE 1.6 Build 17 thru 20 related to SSL. The latest build 21 has a fix, you can also degrade to build 16 to fix.

How does ProcessFlow Integrator handle an Out of Office Autoreply from MS Outlook We would like the Autoreply to go to the email alias we have setup for the PFI Admins so we can insure a proxy is setup to cover Approvals for the person who is out. Friends, I have been working on a process flow that pulls some info out of CBTRANS and puts some key fields in csv format that are then saved into a csv file via a FileAccess object. Everything works well except the most important part, the data showing up. I have a DME query that executes and is returning data, but when it gets to the MessageBuilder, the MessageBuilder does not show the values. Is it possible to reassign work from one user's inbasket to another's similiar to what the timeout setting of an UserAction node would do Example, all work would flow to one user's inbasket and it would be their decision to either take an action or send to another user for action.
