We recently upgraded to v11 Landmark (v10 LSF) and we want to revisit the proxy functionality now that it will proxy tasks rather than roles.  One concern that has come up is if someone were to assign a proxy to someone who is not of the appropriate leadership level (i.e. a Director setting up a manager under them as a proxy).  One way I was thinking to avoid this would be if I could trigger a flow when someone creates a proxy record that would check if the person is of the appropriate level, an...

We're just starting our PFI-to-IPA upgrade project.  We're going from a local AIX PFI installation to a remote Windows IPA installation.  LSF is still on AIX/DB2. I am looking at ways to loop through the content from an S3 report such as BN101 and then to perform an action on each record.  One way is to use bldxffiles to turn it into a pipe-delimited csv and then iterate through that.  While that will work, I want to see if anyone has instead converted a report to XML and then used the For Each to iterate through the nodes successfully.  I attempted it earlier today, and ran into issues first because there aren't any published schemas for the report xml (...

Hello, I query a table and add values to a Message Builder array (var1) then run another SQL to check if the value is part of 'var1'.   I'm using a Branch to determine if I need to add or remove Security access. My branch condition is    var1.includes(SQLQuery8410_POSITIONCODE);    The problem is it skips it, even if the POSITIONCODE is in the var1 array.   Any ideas how I can tackle this   Thank you!

Is it possible for a User Action node notification message email to include a file attachment

I'm looking to create a list of our active ProcessFlows and the node types utilized in each flow - or a list of unique node types used in each flow. I was thinking of using a Landmark transaction to find a list of active flows and the current version, a second Landmark node to query the version to pull the FlowXML. Not sure how to parse the xml to leave me just with a list of the node types. Any ideas Thanks Joe

We had a custom approval flow created for our RQC approvals.  Users typically click a link in a notification email that launches the S3 Portal application for them to view their inbasket.  After approving a requisition, occasionally the screen will revert to the users task list and what they call 'nonsensical' data.  They are unable to easily get back to their inbasket to approve additional requisitions and is causing some confusion.  Has anyone else had this occur  Trying to determine if there...

I am new to IPA and javascripting but so I was wondering if anyone can help me on how to create a fixed length field for use in an Assign node.  I have a field that can vary in length that I need to include it in a flat file interface I have been able to use 'addTrailingSpaces' but this wont work when the data in the field are different lengths.  Probably an easy solution but I cant seem to find anything that works...Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Whenever I attempt to configure an M3 Transaction node in the Process Designer application, I am given an error upon clicking 'Build' in the properties pane.    After clicking OK the M3 Program Query Wizard does launch, but there are no M3 programs/transactions available to choose from. New to creating ProcessFlows. I created a flow that has three queries, the result of which I can use MsgBuilder and an Email node to send the results via e-mail. I am trying to figure out how to send the results to a csv file. I have tried using the file access node 'write to file' but my results come back on one line. We have an approval process sending duplicate email notifications to all users through the User Action node.  We checked the User Configuration and confirmed the users are not duplicated in there.  Any ideas on how to stop/prevent this   Thanks!

I have a need to schedule a IPA flow to run every 15 minutes. Simple flow that checks for some condition and does an AGS call to a GL Screen to change status, Most of the time it will just kick off, find condition not met and end. The sysadmin is concerned that just running it 96 times daily and the WU's created and other overheads will bring the landmark server to its knees. V10.
