Hello!  I hope someone can help.  We are currently using LSF9 SP6 / 8.0.3 apps.  We are testing 9.0 apps for upgrade.  ProcessFlow is functional using 8.0.3 apps.  I am trying to point our existing process flows (having trouble with RSS flows specificially) to the new product line and I can't seem to get (or at least view) work units in either the administrator tool or the inbasket.  I believe work units are being created because there are certain requisitions that are auto-approved based on the dollar amount in the req-header and they are, indeed, being auto-approved.  Other requisitions, larger dollar amounts, are staying in a needs approval status.  However, I can't see those workunits!  Here is what I've done so far:

Created new services for the new productline (old=PROD, new=PROD90) and uploaded the updated flows...

Changed the processflow user to point to the new productline

Changed pfserv config to point to the new productline

Set the company in IC01.1 to use the approval type "Header using Process Flow"

    Restarted pflow services

    Restarted BPM in WebSphere

(we're Windows, SQL Server 2005, Lawson Security.....)

    What am I missing???

Thanks for your help, in advance!

I don't think you have to specify product line when using ProcessFlow v9 (even with Apps 8.03). Do you have requesters or requesting locations set to No Approvals Required? They wouldn't go to ProcessFlow - they would auto approve when released.

        Hi David -

Well, these are custom flows.  Our existing flows all point to our exisiting product line, or data area, of PROD.  I don't have any requesters or requesting locations set to no approvals required.

        Thanks for the reply...

Shari, there are several pieces to updating from 803 to 90x apps and RSS flows. The first is making sure the services are set up in the /bpm tool. If that is set up correctly, you should be able to see the new workunits being created in the /bpm admin tool. If not, then you need to check the service setup in /bpm--is it set up with with or without the product line/data area? What is the service name? You also need to double-check: 1) that the RSS identity in Security Administrator matches a requester on RQ04, 2) what is the approval type for the requester? 3) what is the approval type for the requesting location? 4) in /bpm, are the service, service criteria, and service process all set up correctly?
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

When you say you can't see the work units - are you talking about in Administrator? Or in the BPM folder itself?

And have you checked the flows themselves to make sure appprodline is not being hard coded?
