Here is the RQ10PD section that invokes the service. I guess this is a basic trigge....but what is the actual service name?

    INITIALIZE WFAPI-INPUT
    MOVE RQWS-WORKUNIT TO WFAPI-I-WORKUNIT
    INITIALIZE WFAPI-OUTPUT

    PERFORM 1000-WF-RELEASE-SETUP

    IF (WFAPI-O-RETURN-CODE NOT = 0)
DISPLAY "Release API Return Code "
    WFAPI-O-RETURN-CODE
    DISPLAY " " WFAPI-O-RET-MSG
    GO TO 400-END
    END-IF

That depends upon if you're approving at the Header level or the Line level.
The Service for RQ approval at the Header level is Req Approval
The Service for RQ approval at the Line level is RQCreateLnApprv

Hey Dave, how you doing? Thank goodness the NFL starts this week.

Well....we are doing line level approval, but I don't see the RQCreateLnApprv service in PFlow Administrator.
This looks like a basic trigger, custom trigger specifiy the service. I would expect to see something like:

        005000 MOVE "RQCreateLnApprv"
        005000 TO WFAPI-I-SERVICE.

What version of Lawson are you on? This is new in 9.x and if you don't have it in your Service list then you might not have loaded the 9.x ProcessFlow Solutions for Procurement.

You are correct sir. Yup, they are doing line approvals based on custom flows that are prior to 9.x.

Heck, I can't locate the "Req Approval" service reference in the PDs either.

I forgot that line approvals have been around since 8.1 but since I pretty much jumped from 8.03 to 9.x I missed out on that fun.
